I have no idea what is going on here. All I can say about this week's doodle is that it appears to have a dual personality.
I like the strange sampler style carpets which are being pulled along by team of medallions. Whee! It's a doodle wagon trail! No? Move along people, there is nothing to read here. Apparently, I have just gone barking mad.
Here is this week's doodle, and it certainly is an odd one. I like the strip format in the upper portion, and the large medallions.
Here is the weird part, the sampler reminds me of (wait for it) lederhosen. Don't they look like folk embroidery? I have absolutely no idea why it is lederhosen that springs to mind. It is not like I am itching to go to Oktoberfest. I don't even drink beer.
Did you know it is really easy to find lederhosen? Obviously, they have quite the following. American Airlines is even having a "posin in your hosen" photo contest for travel miles.
These nifty suspenders are from Ernst Licht. Open the site and it will play a polka. I like polkas, but it is a warning to those who have more refined taste than I do.
