Biography
I am a painter, and I doodle (a lot). My doodles inform my artwork.
Doodling is different from drawing or painting. When I draw or paint it is a conscious and deliberate act, and I have control of the outcome.
Doodling is a subconscious act, done while my attention is elsewhere. I think doodling is the drawing version of dreaming.
My doodles inform my artwork. I started this blog in order to understand the relationship between them.
