Doodle of the Week

This is a biggie, so just keep scrolling.

The medallions have less visual weight than the carpet. They are far more open and are a kind of visual resting place. I like the little animal shape that has begun to appear. The motif only faces one direction, which I think is odd. I flip it around, but only draw them facing one direction. I don't know why that is. Doodles are mysterious.

Did you make it in one long strip or did you attach smaller pieces to make the strip?

What is the actual size of your doodle-art and how did you scan/ photograph it?
