Today's doodle is another large and elaborate carpet. A bit late this week, as usual. So why do I even mention it?
I wasn't sure how to orient this one, but this is what I arrived at. I like the leaves, the rows of a single element, and the open grids.
We went on a hike in the gorge last Saturday. On the way down we ran into the strangest thing I have seen on a trail for ages. There were people standing with their backs to us holding animals.
Naturally, I think they have picked up small dogs to keep them from being mugged by Zelda.
But no, they are holding goats. They are hiking with goats. What were they doing with them? Bringing them along to sacrifice, or did they just want fresh milk for a picnic?
I would have asked them about it, but they didn't even respond when I said hello. Unfriendly people with goats. Who needs 'em.
I wish I did have a carpet like this. Oh how beautiful it would be. I love this doodle.
I think those people with the goats were possibly aliens.
